accessibility
Effective Date: Oct 23, 2026
I want everyone who visits lucymft.com to be able to use it. This page describes the accessibility of this Website, the standard I work toward, the limitations I currently know of, and how to reach me if any part of this site is difficult for you to use.
01. commitment & standard
I aim for this Website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing part of maintaining this site, not a one-time project. This Website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which means most content meets the standard and the specific exceptions I know of are listed in section 03.
02. what is in place
Based on an accessibility review of this site completed October 22, 2026:
- Text contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA requirements across the site's light and tinted sections.
- Every page includes a skip-to-content link, visible focus indicators, and keyboard navigation without keyboard traps.
- Pages are structured to work with current browsers and assistive technologies.
03. known limitations
I am aware of the following limitations and am correcting them:
- Heading structure. Some pages have missing or out-of-order heading levels, which can make navigation by screen reader harder than it should be. Corrected headings are being applied page by page.
- Image descriptions. Some content images do not yet have meaningful text descriptions. Decorative images are intended to be ignored by assistive technology; descriptions for informative images are being added.
- Scheduling widget. Appointment scheduling is provided through an external scheduling service embedded in this site. I cannot control that service's accessibility directly, and I have not been able to verify that all of its form fields are labeled to the standard above. If the scheduling tool is difficult for you to use, contact me by email and I will arrange your consultation another way.
04. feedback & assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this Website, or if any information on it is not available to you in a form you can use, please contact me at hello@lucymft.com. I aim to respond to accessibility-related messages within two business days, and I will provide the information or service you were seeking through an accessible alternative whenever I can.
05. assessment & updates
This statement is based on a self-evaluation of this Website completed on October 22, 2026. I will update this page as the limitations in section 03 are corrected and as the site changes.
