about me —

Hello, I'm Lucy! It takes so much courage to take the first step towards meaningful change. In my practice, I'm passionate about supporting others navigate concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, self-improvement, and identity.

I help clients work with uncomfortable emotions, cultivate compassion for moments when they need it the most, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and how they want to exist in the world. I believe people naturally heal and meet their goals when they are seen, known, and understood. It is so important to me that I create a nurturing space for you so that you feel safe to access the delicate parts of yourself and thus feel strong enough to overcome the issues that bring you into therapy.

Outside of my identity as a therapist, I am an INFJ, HSP, a jack of all trades, and a lover of aesthetics. I consider myself both an adventurer and a homebody - someone who enjoys the magic of traveling, of submerging myself in other cultures, and, at the same time, also someone who longs for the comfort of being curled up with a book next to a candle and a cup of tea. On any given weekend, you can find me either: shopping at Target, playing at the dog park with my french bulldog, making homemade meals, or chasing sunsets!

what therapy with me looks like

Therapy is such a precious and unique space, because for an hour block, you come and sit with me and process the hidden, deeper parts of yourself. That can be scary and that can be strange because it's new, it's different, and it's uncomfortable. My role is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which you feel safe to show up as you are, as you with all the masks off, to feel all the big feelings, and to relate to yourself differently - in a more compassionate and gentle manner.

In our work together, we'll explore what's weighing on your heart. That could be your day to day struggles, your future worries, or the delicate wounds from your past. We all have stories we tell ourselves, some of which are colored with triumph, others tainted with doubt and despair. I want to hear about it all. In this process, we will laugh, we will cry, we will slow down, we will sit in silence, and we will relish in aha moments together. At times, I may challenge you and gently nudge you to do beyond what you think you can do, and we will dive deep. We will also come up for air, and we will always get you back to shore when needed. You do not need to do this alone anymore - I'll be here by your side to hold space for you, to cheerlead you on, and to celebrate all the small and big victories.
